STARDUST FULL VERSION
Second release
Version 1.2 ...3rd release

Last updated: 04/16/01

I know this document is very long but please take time to read some
important facts and instruction for stardust! Otherwise you won't know what
to do.

What to do first:
I made movies for Stardust. If you wish to watch the movie, just send it to
your calc/emulator from your stardust/fullversion/movie file. It is separated
into two files because of huge memory requirement. Just watch movie 1, then
watch movie2 afterwards. I included my demo version of Stardust, if you want
to test or learn how to play, demo is the one. After you did all that, you
can start on your episode before playing the full version, make sure you
clear your memory.

Running in TI-83 plus or TI emulators:
This version of Stardust works perfectly with TI-83 plus. In fact, this game
ran so well, (faster and smoother graphics) in TI-83 plus, I recommend
using TI-83 plus for stardust.
Also in 2nd version of the TI-83 Calculator runs perfectly. For the TI-83
emulators, some did go much slower than usual, resulting to longer loading
time and in-game calculation time, which it made the game boring. Others
just went too fast and sometimes you missed part of the game.

Important notes about the game:
As you can see, each episode requires all of calculator's memory. So you
cannot install different episode at the same time (Well, you shouldn't
anyway). You can install the other episode after beating that previous
episode. Instructions in how to install the next episode correctly just
follow the in-game instruction. If you had your calculator modified for
more memory capacity, best not to install different episode at the same
time. It may cause the game to have an error or worse. Same thing goes
with the Movie and the endings.
This game will allow you to buy upgrades for your weapons. Only two
   upgrades per weapons.
Don't worry about saving, the game automatically will save when necessary.
If you want to reset the game, just delete all the lists from your memory
manager in your calculator (Press 2nd then the key "+").
"Backup saved game" is now available for the full version. If you made a
mistake on buying upgrades or you weren't satisfied with your ratings, you
are now able to backtrack the mission by simply pressing the "graph" button
from your main menu. You can only backup 1 saved game. You must first backup
the game before you can backtrack. To make a backup, you must press "Enter"
in your TI-83 keypad in the main menu.
Don't ever, ever, ever run a programs that starts with the letter "Z". If
you do, you may result in damaging the saved game.
Don't delete or change any picture files in the calculator, if you do, it
will result in damaging the game. For some stupid reason, if you did
delete the picture file(s), you must download it from your computer again.
For TI-83 programmers, if you change numbers in Stardust's Lists, you may
not be able to continue the game regularly. If you do know what you're
doing, go aheadI don't care. CHEATER!
I did tested this game over and over for any errors. So far, I did fixed
all that I encountered. But if you do see one, just contact me. My address
   is listed below this document.
Don't mix this program with other basic games and other basic programs
that uses pictures, Lists, GDB's, and Strings. Stardust could damage that
program or vise versa. ASM or SOS programs shouldn't give any problems to
   Stardust game.

Things you don't want to erase:
There are many sub-variables and sub-programs for Stardust. The Things that
you don't want to erase is the GDB0 (a graph data base), Pictures (you can
only erase these when changing to different episode), Strings (your current
weapon name), and your List (your save game file). Examples of list are LSTAT
, LP1, LP2, Lsave, etc.

About the game:
This is a third release of Stardust. Fixed movies for TI-83 plus by reducing
Graphic resolution. Also I have made the game easier by reducing the price
of upgrades.

The game is self-explanatory. Throughout the game, all you need is numeral pad in your
calculator. Just follow the in-game instruction. Instruction should be written in the calculator's screen. They
are 4 episodes in stardust. In first three episodes, there are three opponents you must defeat. You must do this to advance to the next episode. After defeating each opponent, you will be awarded in credits (Money). Amount of receiving credits varies by your skills. You'll also get a rating from your previous fight. Try not to get lower than a "Very good" in your ratings. Otherwise, you won't be able to buy new upgrades for your weapons and shield.
In the last episode, you only have to defeat one opponent. Try beating this
dude. I only defeated him once. You'll barley scratch him even with your
fully upgraded weapons. If you do defeat him, their will be an ending for
you to see (They are 2 different possible endings)

Basic Sound:
Note: Try this at your own risk. I won't be responsible for damaged Radio or
your calculator by following these steps.
This might be stupid but you might like it. If you have an antenna with AM
radio, you may be able to here sounds from my game. Here's how, first setup
your radio to AM, and attach an antenna, move your antennas close to the
TI-83 calculator as possible. Turn on your calculator. You should here a hum
or static, try adjusting the AM channel till you can't here that static or
just till barely you can hear the static. Run the Stardust program. You
should be able to hear some beeping sound. That's itit's corny but hey,
it's a basic program.

The file "Stardust" should include:
Movie1/2: First half of the movie (Size: All of calculator's memory)
Movie2/2: Last half of the movie (Size: 7000 bytes)
Episode 1: (Size: All of calculator's memory)
Episode 2: (Size: All of calculator's memory)
Episode 3: (Size: All of calculator's memory)
Episode 4: (Size: All of calculator's memory)
Ending 1: Hopeless future (Size: All of calculator's memory)
Ending 2: Stardust's defeat (Size: All of calculator's memory)
